THE SAIL WITH A WING
The ISTEC Parasailor combines a large sail area with an integrated hybrid wing that generates lift and helps stabilise the entire system.
The result is a sail designed for comfortable and efficient sailing across a wide range of downwind courses, from approximately 70° to 180° apparent wind.

Two sails in one! The Parasailor can be used from approximately 70° to 180° apparent wind, covering a significant part of the range normally sailed with a gennaker and a spinnaker.
It is cost-effective and also saves valuable space on board.
GREATER PERFORMANCE
The redesigned hybrid wing, combined with a sail body optimised for airflow, delivers improved performance compared with the previous Parasailor model.
GREATER STABILITY
The hybrid wing generates increased lift and maintains an effective response even at lower wind speeds.
It also contributes to greater Parasailor stability and helps keep the leech open.
GREATER SAFETY
The new geometry reduces the wing’s projected area, making the new Parasailor easier to hoist and lower.
The smaller wing area also reduces drag when the sail is being retrieved.
MORE ENJOYMENT ON THE WATER
With the new-generation Parasailor, sailing becomes effective from approximately 2–3 knots of true wind.

A NEW GEOMETRY
Compared with its predecessor, the new hybrid wing has more compact external dimensions.
Its design combines a long, continuous upper sail with a shorter lower section, bringing together the advantages of a dynamic-pressure wing and a single-layer wing.
The result is a more compact geometry optimised to generate lift and stability.
GREATER ANGLE OF ATTACK
The increased angle of attack and wing camber give the new hybrid construction a noticeable increase in lift and stability.
The new geometry also improves the wing’s response and allows the Parasailor to be used in significantly lighter winds.
According to ISTEC, this means the new-generation Parasailor can be used from approximately 2–3 knots of true wind.
REDUCED AREA
The new design reduces the wing’s vertically projected area.
This makes the Parasailor easier and safer to hoist and lower.
The smaller surface area also creates less resistance inside the retrieval sock, allowing the sail to be recovered more quickly and with less effort.
VÁLVULAS ACTIVAS
The new valve technology increases pressure inside the wing and allows for faster inflation.
At the same time, the inflatable chamber can be smaller while still maintaining an effective opening of the leeches.
During retrieval, the valves allow faster deflation thanks to a larger air outlet.

15 DESIGNS.
The new-generation Parasailor is available in 15 striking colour designs. Three new colours have also been added to the existing range: golden yellow, graphite grey and lime green.
The designs also maintain ISTEC’s philosophy of using dark elements on the leeches, making the sail easier to see in bright conditions.
